  1. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm insensitive, maybe I'm out of touch...but it seems to me that bullying is as bad as it ever was, from what I can see. What are new laws supposed to accomplish? Here's a super idea; parents, raise your kids right. It's your fault there are so many self-entitled little pieces of shit running around, ignorant of the concept of consequences. Teach your kids to respect eachother, and while you're at it, teach them to respect themselves. I got picked on a lot for my weight as a kid. Do you know what I did? I laughed along, made jokes of my own. A bully is as powerful as you allow them to be.

Parents, fucking do your job. Kids shouldn't be killing themselves over this. When they feel overwhelmed, you need to be there to make them feel more comfortable in their own skin. Conversely, if you know that your kid is a little shit, do whatever you have to do to correct that. In either case, your job is to teach them, and put everything in to perspective. That, more than any law or legislation, will make all the difference.
